A long tradition: Turkish Society of Cardiology participated in the ESC Stockholm Congress, 2010

Turkish Society of Cardiology has become a full member of the ESC right after its establishment in 1963 and has always participated in annual congresses of the ESC with a high profile as in the 2010 Congress that was held in Stockholm on August 28 - September 1.

Besides the session chairs, lectures and several abstracts accepted for oral and poster presentations TSC members also participated in special joint research meetings, progress meeting of the Stent for Life project and organizational meetings of several ESC committees.

Naturally, the stand of the TSC was the meeting point for Turkish participants in the Congress and one of the most visited National Society Stands with comprehensive information on annual activities and souvenirs such as the traditional beads against "evil eyes" and the delicious "Turkish delight".
