The peer-reviewed Cardiovascular Nursing Journal was also added to the official journals of the TSC by the related Working Group online, in 2010.
Guideliness and Dictionaries
Since today TSC endorsed, translated, published and distributed free of charge 33 ESC Guidelines. Besides these, AHA CPR Guidelines was also translated into Turkish together with the Emergency Physicians Society and published. 21 national guidelines were also prepared, published and distributed free of charge. All of these guidelines are also available online at www.tkd.org.tr.
By considering the need of clinicians for concise version of the guidelines, TSC started to translate and print the Pocket versions of the ESC Guidelines in 2011.
On the other hand, the Cardiovascular Nurses and Technicians Working Group of TSC prepared the first guidelines of the world in five topics; they are reachable on the web in English as well. The Society prepared two Dictionaries of Cardiological Terms in Turkish since 1980 and made 7 revised and enlargened prints. They are also available online.
Another significant initiative was the multilingual Cardiovascular Vocabulary in Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Latin, English and Russian. The dictionary is reachable at the web site of the Turkic World Cardiology Association (TDKB), www.tdkb.org.

Website of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, www.tdkb.org serves as the main media for member and public communications. The titles, programs, speakers, dates and places of past and future national and international meetings are announced at the website.
Its average monthly hit reached 5,97 million and the average monthly number of unique visitors 66.806 in 2012. TSC is keen at providing the most updated information to its members. Besides the webcast of the national congresses and major meetings, our online Slide Center provides 5249 presentations in all topics of cardiology; made fast and easy to navigate.
In 2012, E-Cardiology Congress and Webinars in Interventional Cardiology and Heart Failure were also added to the virtual sources and services provided for the cardiologists. At the end of 2012 a new interactive online CME program From Your Clinic was introduced. This bi-weekly program is planned with 12 live discussions broadcasted from cardiology clinics of different universities and training and research hospitals. The participants are required to answer the questions related with the presentations in order to get the CME credit.
